Focus on The News and Feel The Power of The Brand
XL-ETFE is the acronym for Cross-Linked Extruded Ethylene Tetrafluoroethylene. It is wire insulation that is used primarily in aerospace wires and cables. This material is featured of its resistance to high&low temperature, chemical, fire, and strong mechanical property. As a type of thermoset insulation, XL-ETFE also provides excellent fluid, oil, and moisture resistance.
Chuangmei's XL-ETFE meets the MIL-W-22759 (SAE AS22759) specification.
High & low temperature resistance is one of the most significant characteristics of XL-ETFE. Chuangmei's XL-ETFE material can work stably between -65 ℃ and 200 ℃. Within this temperature range, it still exhibits excellent mechanical properties and resistance of chemical, UV light, and thermal aging, making it widely used in applications that require long-term exposure to high temperatures and loads, such as aerospace wires and cables.
With 16 years in polymer material manufacturing and R&D, Chuangmei's XL-ETFE stands out with the following unique advantages:
